Notice of Water Claim — Emerson Creek. Take notice that I Colin Anderson of Surprise Valley County of Modoc State of California have this day located and appropriated and I hereby appropriate and claim for the purpose of irrigation and for general farm and domestic use fifty (150) inches measured under a four inch pressure of the water here flowing in the stream commonly known as Emerson Creek in said Valley... I intend to divert said water from said Creek at the mouth of the Canyon or thereabouts...
